Commissions and Yule Present.

I'd been commissioned to crochet and gnome and toadstool, which I finished this morning after waking up at 5:30am and not being able to get back to sleep.  So I sat in bed, popped Medium on the laptop to watch and finished off the toadstool, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out;

And I've just completed a scarf for Rye for Yule:

A very simple and quick make, all I did was a foundation chain of 15 stitches, and then worked back into the chain triple trebles (the first four chains make up the 1st triple treble), so that I ended up with 11 trebles and I just worked it in rows until desired length,  Then I added some tassles.  The wool is lovely too, it's 100% wool Rowan Country.  I got it in a sale a while back.  With a couple of balls I made Arwen_Tia a pair of soakers for Rowan, and with the last two balls I had left I made the scarf above.  Shall have to see if I can find some more of this wool and so I can make Rye some mitts and a hat to go with.

I've also been selected to be on the tester panel for the Green Parent Magazine I've only received one of the samples so far though, I did hope the others would turn up today.  Hopefully tomorrow.  Melissa from the Green Parent Magazine has asked me to do something for the craft corner too.  So, later I'll make some craft clay with Rye and make a start on Yule decorations.
