The Edge....

The never ending edge... I may go over the edge doing it!   A round takes me about 2 hours - mainly because I loose focus so often and begin to stare into space, hands becoming idle.. then I realise what's happened and begin a bevvy of crochet again.

The photo does not do this blanket justice though, it is utterly stunning, the colours pop, and edging is working so well.. this is the last photo I will show now, until this beauty has been received.

Here I laid it out at a friend's house because it's getting too big for my lounge to lay out properly to measure, and I do have approx another 6-7 rows to go before it's at the required size.

In the meantime to stave off edging madness, I'm listening to Dan Brown's Inferno... not entirely sure this was a good choice when faced with a seeming un-ending edge.... 

I will of course fall back in love with blanket once it's finished, photographed and ooooohed and arrrrrrrred over...... at the moment tho, I'm in "gotta keep slogging" mode and desperately want to see the END!  lol
