Thursday - Science Club.

Electricity!
Its the topic until Christmas, and Rye, in particular is LOVING it.  Long after the other kids in the club meandered off, he stayed playing with lemons, screws and copper to try and make more wet batteries.  He doesn't fully understand the idea of a circuit yet, so we need to read up on circuits and I need to get some kits for him.

 Here he is working on a wet battery, using vinegar, nails, copper and LED, it took some tinkering to get it to work, but wow really good session.

Next session I think we'll build wee motors to demonstrate how electricity is generated.

And here's a wee preview of my latest WIP, I'm hooking an Autumn wall hanging for the shop.
So far I'm loving the colours and textures.
