Oh my giddy aunt.

I didn't realise I had so much laundry!!!!
My room is virtually box free now and much much tidier - but oh my, those boxes were hiding a multitude of sins. I think because I wash Rye's nappies a couple times a week adn tend to chuck his clothes in too, I tend to forgot about mine........ until I suddnely have 3 laundry bags full. Eek.

The lounge is a tip again - tidying with a toddler is not an easy task lol. There again, the inspector can't expect my house to be spotless with a toddler present lol... and I've read that a bit of clutter is good as they want to see your home "in-situ", or so to speak. I have been trying to get rid of the ants too. Cinnamon sprinkled over the threshold of the door and I washed the floor with vinegar. I've still seen a few ants; but hopefully with repeated washings and the cinnamon they will decide my home isn't worth the trouble.

Anyhoos, the little man has fallen asleep on the chair arm, his head resting on my shoulder so I reckon I ought to take him up to bed and then I'll tidy the kitchen up - yet again lol.

Oh, and before I forget, Rye's dad texted me asking if he was having Rye on Friday, I've told him that's fine and he's coming down to pick him up. I'm quite looking forward to having most of the day to myself; give me plenty of time to leisurely potter in the kitchen and do a bit of cooking and baking before Sarie and her family arrive later afternoon for the weekend.

Right, anyway, this isn't get Rye to bed. He's had a full day helping me tidy, playing with his cars and buses and calling my best mate on my mobile! Kids!

That's exactly my problem with laundry, there's just so much to wash with only the kids things to think about that I end up realising I haven't washed my clothes in ages and have no clean anything to wear! lol. I wish I could have a whole day to myself, oh the possibilities! xxxxxxx

I hate doing the washing, although it's slightly more enjoyable now the weather's fine enough to hang it on the line.

We have exciting news... we might be moving down to Broadstairs/ Ramsgate full-time! We've put an offer on a house and have put ours up for sale, fingers crossed!

Enjoy your day to yourself on Friday, and good luck with the inspector-thingummy.

xx
