I'm sure most of you lovely people who read my blog already know that today my childmind services were engaged by parent of a 2.5yr old girl and 4yr old boy. I have been virtually jumping with joy all over the internet pretty much since the lady left this morning.
Worrying start initially, she was suppose to arrive at 8:45 and by 9:15 my heart had sank and I'd assumed she'd found someone else that perhaps was closer to her son's school or something.... only a few minutes later to receive a call, she'd had a doctors appointment she'd forgotten about. Phew!
So yes, I'm now a childminder with kids :) Very exciting. The little girl seemed really lovely, the mum seemed lovely, very chatty too - with any luck the start of a fruitful working relationship :)

Still on a high, lol. I calm down then suddenly I think about it and I'm all grins and thinking about what I'll do tomorrow to help the little girl settle in. (painting/drawing, maybe go to the park.. although I'll see how she settles, if Rye has anything to do with it, he'll have her playing cars and what not with him soon enough lol)
