Few hours after the little 'un was born. His poor scalp, he suffered numerous scratches from the monitor and then they tried a ventrouse (sp?) to deliver him in the hope of avoiding an emergency c'section. Sadly it failed and just left the little one with a very sore head.

About half hour after being born...... my precious baby, he wasn't breathing when born and the medical staff had to work on him a few minutes, I was very out of it from the ordeal but I do remember asking why he wasn't crying.

9 weeks, 5 days old...... at this point exclusively breastfed..... but as you can see he was rather skinny so in my ignorance I took the advice of HV and at 11 weeks was topping up with formula.
And then severe oral thrush was diagnosed and I had thrush in my nipples and ducts too... Not the bfing experience I'd hoped for, nontheless 2 years later and bfing is ongoing, so I'm happy with that.
And finally one of my favourite photos - the little 'un in the sling around 9 weeks old:

Aaaah, so cute, makes me quite broody!
I would adore more myself; lack of man is a bit of a problem, coupled with no real desire to find one either.
Shame we humans aren't asexual! lol
