Autumn swap.

Little late, in sharing what I made this time, simply because I had the joy of sending something to Ruth in Napal :-)

My original idea was to do a crochet version of the green man paintings I paint, I had a vague idea of combining natural leaves and acorns into the mix too.  But once I received my pm letting me know my swap partner, I dropped the idea, as I suspected sending over leaves and seeds from this country would be frowned upon.

So in the end I made this little guy:

I love the leaves, not entirely sure about the face.. probably would have been better if I'd used a muted orange for the face, rather than the green. 

Mine hasn't arrived yet; but as this little guy has only just been received, hopefully our gift will come in the next day or so.  I've kept quiet with Rye so it's a nice suprise when it arrives :-)
