Early Mama Made.

I know, I know, I should keep this for Monday, alas, I'm so proud and Rye looks so cute, I just have to share now!

A lovely snuggly warm hat for Rye; I was inspired by the gorgeous hat Kat made for her beautiful daughter over on Slugs on the Refrigerator  and decided to make my own version; the above is what I crocheted last night and finished off this morning.
He is rather fond of his hat and will not take it off.
The yarn is hand painted by Sarah at Carried Family, and is Fyberspates Blue Liecester aran weight wool.
It is a very simple hat, a combination of trebles and doubles and I finished off by doing the crab stitch (which is just double crochet backwards).

I love the colours - zany and perfect.

Cheers :-) Your handpainted wool makes it. I left it very simple to show off the colours of the yarn. And wow those colours suit him so much!
