1st September

It occurs to me today that Rye is 2 years and 8 months old, which means in a paltry 4 months time he will be 3 years old.  I am constantly amazed that he grew from this rather scrawny (but utterly gorgeous), little baby into:

A toddler who is really quite tall for his age:

A toddler who fits nicely into age 3-4 dressing up clothes, and wrecks my lounge :)

Perhaps he wil take after his Uncle Kev and become a copper too?

Baby evils - not quite sure why; possibly he was tired of me snapping photos.

Yah!  Managed to pursuade him to let me tidy up a bit, the lounge is no longer a lethal assault course!

Arriving back home from the Park.  He had a fabulous time.  There were 3 girls there, probably ranging from about 8-11 and of course, he charmed the pants off them  and before long they were all chasing him around the playground and kicking his ball around with him.  It was quite a struggle to get him to come home.

The potatoe wedges I'd popped in the oven, just before we went out to the park, as a late lunch/snack were ready - nom nom.  After all that running around he was more than ready for them :)  For tea later we're having my red lentil lasagne.  He hasn't taken a nap yet, so in a while we'll have some quite time reading books, and I may even allow him to watch an episode or two of "Bob the Builder, Yes we can",  as Rye calls it :)

Aye - although do remember hon I gave into the pressure and mix fed Rye for a few months - the first week alone he gained 18oz. Still, he just keeps on growing - willfully, one might say.

**hugs**

Thank you :)

Amazing isn't it.. in one sense it seems a lifetime ago he was born, in another he doesn't seem to have been here with me two minutes. Gawd I love him!
